Nick Diaz 100% on Retiring Unless He Gets GSP Rematch or Anderson Silva

Updated: April 3, 2013

According to a report from’s Ariel Helwani on UFC Tonight, Diaz’s legal representative, Jonathan Tweedale, confirmed that Stockton’s favorite son is indeed dead set on hanging up his gloves for good unless one of two things happens: Either, A.) He gets his rematch against UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, who just dismantled him, or B.) He somehow winds up fighting UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

With either scenario highly unlikely to happen I guess we will have to wait and see if Diaz is bluffing like he has done in the past, or wether his UFC 158 loss to GSP was indeed the final time we will have seen Nick in the octagon.

Oh fuck off! Just retire you 2nd-rate bum.

Diaz will never win a title fight in the UFC. Guy is the biggest baby.
His fans are P4P most retarded too

A well thought out and factual argument. I’m glad that MMA fans like you can educate people on the dangers of people like Nick Diaz.

says arm chair critics…. nick diaz is a champion to many people. he had an 18 month lay off before fighting arguably the pound for pound best fighter in the world, and really all gsp did was hold nick down like we all knew he would. nick was never in danger of tapping out or getting ko’ed. not bad for not having a fight in 18 months. i wish you all had to say this face to face to the person its about. oh how funny it would be.

diaz was overpowered right from the start, its just 1 excuse after another, GSP is just a better class of fighter.

Diaz was not overpowered. Sure gsp won, but it went to decision, wasnt very impressive and gsp didnt have any answer in the standup besides his little jabs. diaz was smacking gsp in the standup, so gsp took it to the ground to ride out the win like all his other wins. not impressive. He’ll get KO’d real soon. And diaz is a scrapper man,he can probably beat everyone else’s ass in the division.

haha people are so jaded these days. Two men get in a cage and beat the hell out of each other to make a living and people think they have the right to talk shit about them. I can understand liking a fighter better but to talk shit about them when your opinion wont amount to shit is stupid. Respect all fighters who get in the cage and until you get in the cage with them, keep the disrespectful words in your mouth. Gsp is a great champion. Diaz is a great fighter. But in all honesty I would rather watch a diaz fight then Gsp fight. I know a lot of people would say you should just watch boxing but let me say this…you dont have to brawl to make a good fight. You can wrestle but when taking someone down you need to advance your position or have a sick ground and pound. I am tired of seeing these 5 rounds of holding and laying on top of a fighter
