UFC 155 just got even more stacked.

A rematch between Middleweight contenders Alan Belcher and Yushin Okami has been verbally agreed for the December 29 event. News of the fight was confirmed by MMAFighting.com. Okami and Belcher both welcomed each other to the UFC in 2006 when they met at UFC 62, Okami came out on top in that fighting winning by unanimous decision.

Since then Yushin Okami has went 10-4 including wins over Mark Munoz, Nate Marquardt and Mike Swick. He competed for the Middleweight crown in 2011 when he lost by TKO to Anderson Silva at UFC 134. Okami then suffered back to back losses before breaking the streak to Buddy Roberts at UFC 150.

Belcher meanwhile has had an up and down run in the UFC plighted by injuries but in recent times he has put together a solid 4 fight win streak together which culminated in a big win over leglock specialist Rousimar Palhares at UFC on FOX 3. He was expected to fight Vitor Belfort at UFC 153 only for Vitor to withdraw to step up and fight Jon Jones for the title at UFC 152.

UFC 155 is scheduled for December 29 and will be headlined by a Heavyweight title rematch between Junior Dos Santos and Cain Velasquez.
